 Excellent KVM for the price July 19, 2010

Great little switch. I have 4 computers currently connected and it has been working great, and especially for the price range. All I had to do was connect everything and reboot the computers. I have it on 3 Linux boxes and a Windows 7 box. I'm using a Logitech G15 (2nd gen) wired keyboard and wireless Logitech MX Revolution mouse. The USB receiver for the mouse is plugged into one of the USB ports on the keyboard. I then plugged the keyboard into the USB mouse port on the KVM and everything has worked great. I haven't tested out the really advanced functionality of the keyboard (the LCD display, basically), but the volume controls work just fine. The mouse doesn't seem to have any problems with the clicks, scroll wheel, and forward/back buttons. For the price, this has surprised me. The only pseudo-complaint that I have is the layout of the connections sends wires in all directions, but they're easy to bundle about 6" from the switch and don't really get in the way mounted under my desk. The audio only does 1 stereo line out and 1 microphone line in. So, if you have a good computer speaker setup (with 2-3+ plugs), it may be troublesome, but I really don't care enough to test. It may be possible that you can use the microphone line as a 2nd line for another line out, but, again, I haven't tested so take it with a grain of salt.
The switch just works, and that's all I really wanted.

i had the 2 PC switch and then got this one when i needed to connect 4 PC's. works grate, on rare occasions when a computer hangs i disconnect all and reconnect again.

I purchased this KVM switch because my first one lost USB keyboard functionality. Nevertheless this is one of the best KVM switches because it works with 4 computers and includes audio as well as the normal monitor, keyboard and mouse functions. It supports my MAC (does not support my mac speakers - would have liked to have an adaptor for this included in the box though) and my 3 PCs.
It does work with a wireless mouse but I have not tested it with a wireless keyboard yet.
I highly recommend this product.

Plugged everything in (using included cables) and everything just worked. Double-click the Scroll-Lock key and it switches the display, keyboard, mouse, and speakers fairly quickly. When it did get lost (shutting down computer), I was able to use the select buttons on the unit itself to select the computer I wanted to connect to.
